Having been digitally involved firstly in image sampling and physically with sculpture, elendil has performed a variety of roles in mostly collaborative performances and installations since 1994. He's is now broadcasting an local Adelaide radio show to the net weekly as part of r a d i o q u a l i a and performing live audio at intermittent events.
Elendil is now developing practices for live video processing and network opportunities for those practices.
Jesse Gilbert is a composer, sound artist, improviser, and computer programmer. Currently a master's student in the Integrated Media program at CalArts, Gilbert has participated in many on-line collaborative projects, including Finding Time, Adrift, many works with the collective ParkBench, and the exhibition "PORT: Navigating Digital Culture". He currently studies composition with Mark Trayle, Tom Erbe, Wadada Leo Smith, and Vinny Golia. Former teachers include Anthony Braxton, Alvin Lucier, and Ron Kuivila.
Jeremy Hicks, sound artist, has been probing the various control possibilities of analogue synthesizers in New Zealand and Australia since 1982. He has worked in collaboration with such artists as Stelarc, Derek Kreckler (sound), Retarded Eye (film) and Company In Space (interactive dance). Jeremy is a long term member of the sound performance group "Enargeia" and a new solo project "Wild Weasel". He recently participated in Closing The Loop 2000 in Adelaide, Australia, and the BioMachines industrial art festival. Currently resides in York, Western Australia.
Sean Rooney is a guitar player, trombonist, composer and computer programmer. Currently a student in the CalArts composition/ New Media program, he has studied with Mark Trayle, Arthur Jarvinen and Wadada Leo Smith. His piece The Noise Engine (Instrumental), an instrumental piece based on the frantic thrashing of misdirected pitch-to-midi converters, was recently performed by the New Century Players. A live electronics piece from the same series, Bunny Tarnish will be included on the Illegal Art release Commercial Ad Hoc, to be released this summer under the alias Peakaboo Hudson. He has performed with George Lewis, Chris Brown, DJ Flack, JY's Knot and others.
